Default building a 347

I have plans of building a 347 stroker i got a non HO 5.0 shortblock as of right now. i plan on getting a 347 stroker kit with forged pistons. i want to build it naturally aspirated and streetable (just barely). i like the lobe of a huge cam. i want to keep it efi. i have a 65 f-100 stepside that is frame off restored and it has a 5.0 HO from a 91 cougar xr7. i already have a 3000 tci stall for the AOD and a ported EFI edelbrock performer intake and long tube headers with dumps. i have 4.11 posi and a bbk pressure regulator and the 19lb 4 nozzle injectors and 70mm cobra mass air and 70mm throttle body. i need to decide on a cam and heads for a stroker though. and im on a very strict bugdet. i want to keep the option open for boost and i don't like replacing performance parts. does anybody now of a efi 347 on a budget. im thinkin pro comp heads and not sure on the cam. i don't want to use trickflows becuase i can get pro comps cheaper used and i need to get very expesive pistons to work with the trick flow heads. i figure i can make up for the lack of flow with a larger cam becuase it will fit in the traditional valve releifs. does anybody have any parts for sale. the only parts i plan on buying new is the stroker kit. yeah im a cheap *** but it seems to be working for me so far. btw i can run a 14.6 with the 5.0 in the F-100(Sleeper).

Default RE: building a 347

Dont get pro comp heads there junk, heads are going to cost u a pretty penny when it comes to a stroker 347 anyways you look at it unless you get lucky on a used set. If you want to keep boost an option for the future dont go building a high compression engine and you will end up needing a lightning maf or pro m 80 or yours will peg. Also i dont know what you mean by 4 nozzle injectors but your going to need at least 24lbers for that and then probably at least 42lbers at least if you plan on running a supercharger.Dont go get a cam just cuz it has a nice sound with a lot of overlap. Go get a comp stroker cam thats all id put in a stroker. This is like the fourth time today where someone had a post about i might supercharge in the future. Supercharged engines are completely different engines that need totally different parts, and if you dont want to buy stuff twice you got to spend some money on mass air meters injectors and not run a ton of compression it really affects your entire build.

Use the Trick Flow heads. The valves are rotated so that the 2.02's work with stock style pistons.
