So I put a rear seat delete in my 02 gt and was wanting to do the same in my fox, ('90 GT Hatch). It doesnt seem to be as easy to delete the seat in the '90 as it was in the '02. Anyone have direction for removel?

i have the whole back half of my interior out right now so i plan on cutting a cardboard template and then im not sure if im going to do 1/2' or 3/4' mdf. i think 1/2' cuz of the weight. then get some black carpet some spray glue and wha la. homemade seat delete. its really not hard if you have all the saws.

If you are talking about just removing the seats all you have to do is pop the bottom seat pad out(there are two clips which will release when you push in and up. The best way for this is just to sit in the seat and put your hands on the seat and pull back and move ur *** up at the same time. Once your done that it is just straight unbolting everything.

Right, I had no problem getting the bottom seat pad out, or removing the screws, Im just not sure on how to remove the bars where the seats fold down. Where the seats fold down from the hatch there is a bar they hindge on at the bottom. I wanted to ask if theres an easy way to remove this before I started removing interrior molding.

there should be 2 or 3 bolt on a bracket on each side of the seat.look under the seat back. also theres2 nuts in the center that had to come off. and the screws in that back bar piece. at least that how mine was.
