Hey i got a 88 gt with b303 cam, edelbrockheads, cobra upper n lower intake, andford motorsport comp., and lately i've been havin alot of idle problems. Idk if its a vacumm leak or an iac valve, if its an vacumm leak how do u approach in checkin or findin it.

 

buy carb cleaner, while the engine is running spray the carb cleaner on all the vacuum hose ends, and all the seems between the upper to lower intake manifolds if the idle raises or fluctuates in a certain area(s) then you have a vacuum leak or leaks.

 

you might also just spray some into the intake filter, it idle speed goes up you know you might have a leak, it it goes down, you know you don't have a vacuum leak
