Default fuel pump regulation ?

I have a 87 that i'am converting over to carberator. I was wondering what you guys do as far as fuel supply.

I thought about just putting a regulator in line and dropping the pressure to 7lbs. I also have nitrous on the car , and was just not sure if the pump in the tank would keep up. I'am only going to spray 100 shot now. I think the stock pump is around 80gph ? Is that correct ?

Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

I repove the pump usually and place a tube in it's spot and run a electric holley blue pump and use the regulator to set it to proper psi and I used the extra port on thr regulator for my Nos hook up
