RE: new Clutch
everyone has their opinions on clutches and it just becomes a giant mess when deciding! hahaha. I originally wanted to go with the king cobra, some said it made the pedal stiff, others chimed in it is very good to support heads/cam/intake etc. I wouldn't hesitate to go with that.
Spec is becoming very popular. I have a stage 3 that is new in box, but is a six puck style and just too much for my car. I don;t know what mods u have but it is for sale.
I also have a new UPR Quad and firewall adjuster i am selling and can get out in a week. PM if me if interested, if not no biggie...
I actually decided on a RAM HDX clutch for my car. LRS/5.0 resto has a very nice kit that has all the bearings, pressure plate, full face style disc, align tool, new ford racing flywheel, dowl pins included, flywheel bolts, newsteel bearing retaineretc for $340. Makes it a one shot deal, no guessing or chasing or resurfacing the flywheel. My buddy got one , and itis stamped with Valeo on the face and pressure plate, looks like Ram just sublet work to them. It is good for up to 450 hp and perRam and another person on here good for daily driving... good luck.

RE: new Clutch
Well I really liked the kit, because it came with so much. Ram has been around for a long time too. I spoke with Ram and described what I wanted to do with the car and they said it will match well. A person on here gave a positive response on it as well in their car, and in their friend's car as well. The face on the clutch is not as aggressive as in the picture as well, and obviously with a 450 hp rating it has better holding power etc.
I will PM you the details on the quadrant etc.

RE: new Clutch
around here i think you will most likely be recommended centerforce DF (dual friction) or a Spec clutch. it all depends on how much power your car is putting down, what your needs are, driving style and how much are you looking to spend. but dont try to cheap out cuz you'll be paying for it again. so if you could shine some light on those things im sure we could point you in a general direction to choose one
