Default TAKING OUT VENTS AND OTHER DASH ITEMS

Hey i'm trying to take out some pieces of my dash on my 89 notch. I want to take out:
~The four vents on the dash
~The vertical pad on the passenger side(squishy one)

i'm a little confused on this stuff comes out and dont want to break anything. My plan is to paint some of the dash. Thanks, Nathan

The vents can sort of be popped off carefully, but some of the locking tabs can break if not done right (I still havent figured out the proper way - but the vent needs to be positioned in the right position so the tabs can be squeezed in). The center pad is held on by three (possibly 4) nuts. Most of them can be reached from behind the glovebox, but there is one that may be real difficult to get to (the one nearest to the center of the dash, but is very easy to get to once the entire dash is out [:@].

The vents come out by just carefully prying them out with
flat screwdriver.

The dashpad is held on by 3 nuts on the back.
1 in center and 1 on each end
Center can be reached by taking glove box out
and end ones by taking vents out.
