I am a Mustang wannabe from Denmark - through my contact in Californien I am considering importing this car to Denmark:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...amp;cardist=19[/align][/align]BUT, should the red light be on - the story is, that it is a 5.0 GT conv. from 1995 with a Saleen bodykit and some other Sallen parts and some Cobra interior, the engine 4.6 from a 4.6 GT -01 - he says the car is perfect and smogtested with 3 converters, but hewon't give my Cal. contactthe VIN (?) - shall I forget it or does someone know this car? PLEASE HELP!!!!:-)[/align]

Seems a bit overpriced to me, plus if he's not giving you the VIN, something is suspicious.
I'd offer 5 - 6 grand for it.

See if he has any receipts for the modifications and for the smog test. If he can't supply any documentation i would probably just pass that one up and look for something unmolested. Good luck.

Sure its a fake saleen but it sure looks awfully good!!!
I bet that guy has atleast $10500 in it if he is the one who built it..
Do they smog test over there in Denmark if not why worry with a smog test?
Im sure if he transplanted that 4.6 out of the 2001 gt into the 1995 it wont pass smog it suppose to have a 5.0 in it.
that right there would fail the test...

if it's a 4.6 engine in a previously 5.0 car, it can't have been smogged in california.
