timing cover bolts

RE: timing cover bolts
Don't order the timing cover/water pump ARP kit from Jegs... it said for a 302 with aluminum timing cover. When I got it, the bolts didn't look anything like what the stock ones did. Wrong lengths! Worthless... so I sent it back. Just go to Lowes and get the ones you need like I did. I got stainless ones and spent a fraction of what the junk ARP kit costs.
Oh, and a member and a moderator on here (won't mention their names) were supposed to be helping me get some water pump bolts, but neither came through for me. So I solved the problem myself and bought those bolts at Lowes too and located the double ended stud ones ata local junkyard.

RE: timing cover bolts
um... no, not too sure... summit maybe? theyll prolly be afr, and expensive.
id go to lowes/homedepot, and get bolts/nuts... they might even just have studs... start them, throw a nut on... you know the deal... just get creative.
if you end up ****ed, i can see ifi have a full set here... i have a box of bolts off 3 motors... so i very well may have timing bolts left...
