Also, on another note, you MAF should be larger than your TB. Maybe it is different in forced induction, but I would either step down to a smaller TB (did you port match your intake for that huge TB?) like a 70mm or get a larger MAF, like a lighting 90mm MAF and a tune. Also, the 25lb injectors(what kind are those??) sound too small to make you run rich, do you have a FMU? What is your fuel pressure at?

What boost is it set up for? what is the FP at? what is your base timing set at? I dont seewhere you say you have a FMU. and have 25# inj.I dont think the INJ. is big enough with out a FMU. In my opinion I dont think the injector is big enough with a FMU. As so you say it is rich due to the smellare you aware that a lean motor smells just as bad as a rich one? Look at the plugs what do they look like?

The boost is set to 8. I'll check the fuel pressure and timing. I'll also pull the plugs to see what they look like. What size injectors do you guys think I should be running? Thanks for all the input, I really appreciate it. I have the Rotunda computer programmer that checks just about everything on the engine. The manual for it is about 4 inches thick......I'll figure it out one day.

Thanks again and anymore input is greatly appreciated.

I would not run anything smaller then 30s with a fmu no fmu and 42. but thats me betterfat then lean. I ran 30s with a fmu for years and they worked fine. I was pushing a bit more boost then you also.

I do have a FMU on there but I don't know if its the 12:1 10:1 or 8:1. I recently bought this car and I am tring to figure eveything out. I've owned Mustang Gt's before but nothing as modified as this one. Hopefully I'll figure it out. It will just take a while. Thanks and please keep the input coming.

Did you check the timing yet? I would set the timing at0to see if that stops the ping and then move it up 3 degrees at a time. you are running good gas right? not low grade or mid. what is the BTM set at?

If you are near to ELD visit them and give them a shot. They installed my Trickflow top end andadditionalbolt-onsto theircombo specs and got maxHP from my stock internal n/a 302 and it has run strong with no revisit for problems. I had 373 gears installed by them over 2 years ago with absolutely no problems.Don't beleive eveything you hear. They will stand behind their work as far as all my dealingsI have hadwith them.

Thanks Primo232,

I did check them out and they seemed pretty decent. They told me I needed 42# injectors and MAF calibrated for the injectors, a 255 LPH fuel pump, Chip and finally Dyno Tuned. I'll do the Injectors and pump myself and have them do the rest. Can I use a Lightning MAF 90mm since they are alteady calibrated for 42# injectors? I can pick one of those up for probably less than they can send out my Pro M 75mm MAF to be calibrated.

If I install the 255 LPH pump will I still need the inline Trex pump? Also I will be doing away with the FMU.
