horn dont work
roundman is right. I forgot to mention that not all models are the same.
I have a 93 GT. That is a 5 amp fuse because that is the one I replaced when mine went out. Mine went out because I put a bad cigarette power adapter in mine. As far as ealier models I don't know the fuse color. But reading around it only seemed like the 5.0s went under changes from 89 to 90?
Am I wrong? If not then 87-89 would probably have the 20 amp fuse and 90-93 would have the 5 amp.

Pure5.0, That was an eloquent and thorough response. Good discussion of the basics. Only differences I have are that I've seen relays go out more than that, usually from long term wear on the contacts or failure of the electromagnetic coil, and I think you meant electrons instead of electrodes.
And ohsoquik02, I believe that what Demon_Mustang was refering to is the ring and brush rotary contact assembly behind the steering wheel at the top of the steering column that allows electrical current to flow through a rotating assembly. You couldn't use wires because the constant flexing would result in metal fatigue and breakage. You have to pull the steering wheel off of the column to access this assembly, and if there are air bags involved be sure to use all appropriate caution and procedures (these things can decapitate a small child remember).
