then do as this link by Joel 5.0 says....even though the computer scanner you bought says it'll work ..often more than not the universal tool won't work on all makes and models

On a detail note...... "Yes I performed the KOEO test two things that came up as a potential problem one caused by the MAF which has just been replaced" .... if the MAF failure code is still logged as a "hard failure" (code 66, 56)..... the KOER will not be initialized. This will unfortunately mean that the replacement of the MAF was not required to solve the MAF code. Suggest to clear codes and check what shows up in a KOEO.
