i bought the car with the current clutch already in, and the clutch is pretty hard to push in and was wondering if there is any adjustments i could make. im not exactly sure what clutch is in but was told its aftermarket.

cant adjust firmness of a performance clutch the only thing you can adjust is the free play if you have an aftermarket adjuster

so is it normal for a performance clutch in a 5.0 to be pretty stiff because ive had other cars with performance clutchs and its nothing like this

Is your clutch adjustable? If it isn't then that's a good place to start, get an adjustable quadrant and cable kit for your ride.

well im unsure at this point im attempting to track down the guy who owned the car before me because i bought it at a collector car dealership and i went to the dealer and he is going to get the guy to give me a call because its a friend of his and the car has had some extensive work as ive been finding out recently. i know new clutch but dont know if its adjustable or not because i need to do something for this clutch because it is pretty hard to push in, but soon ill have a pretty good list of all the mods in the car, rather than cash values of what was put into it

You need to take the cable out the car and lube it then reinstall
