Default MAF Sensor Question

Okay after reading another thread, could to big of a MAF give me idle issues i.e. in nuetral, not touching anything the car will increase idle to 1800-2000 rpm then sometimes stay there or go back to 1000. It doesn't do this all the time but enough to raise concern. If so how do I measure the MAF I have to see if it's stock for a 91 5.0 GT?

Stock size is 55mm for that year, i never heard of a maf doing that because it is too large, you can check the volt readouts if you got a good scanner or a multimeter and want to splice if everything checks out and it does not run any better with the maf unplugged then i doubt thats your problem.

How can a MAF be intermittently big? ....don't guess, ask the system what could be wrong.... DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test
