Need help to figure out vibration!!
Alright I have a 93 LX Hatch, pretty much stock except for exhaust and 1 in lowering springs in the front. Any way I wasnt really doing 120 mph on the public highways haha but say for a minute that i had and when i started to decelerate pretty heavily I got a real heavy vibration in what felt like the front passenger wheel. It almost felt like a flat tire. But no flat tire. When i got home I grabbed both the front wheels and tried to shake them from side to side and i heard something knocking at the wheel. before this little episode that didnt really happen I heard in the steering a knock at very low speeds right as I started to turn the wheel, if I turned the wheel back and forth it would knock every time but only at like 15 -20 mph. Im thinking it could be the rack I dont know as for the vibration on deceleration I have no idea and yes all the lugs are tight. If you have any idea what either one could be your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ALLOT.

RE: Need help to figure out vibration!!
It could be the inner or outer tie rod.
If your unsure how to check out your front end I suggest you take your car to a shop and have the front end checked, repaired and realigned.
Slow down!!!!

Thanks for the help. Took it to the local shop and they said the rack was loose but other than that they said there was nothing wrong. They think the vibration was from the tires beeing out of balance. My 93 cobra rims just showed up today and I ordered new tires so that will take care of that problem.
Thanks again for the replys although I cant promise to always doe the speed limit.HaHa Aloha.
