Hey guys i'm pretty much new to this board i'm finally getting my project fox on the go i'm trying to get everything figured out ahead of time and i was just woundering if the flexplate for 89 5.0 H.O is 50oz then does that mean i need to find a damper (harmonic balancer) for it to?

your mustang should already have those parts on them....flexplate is 50oz and balancer needed must complement flexplate..as for putting in a c-4 to a fox motor ..you'll need a c-4 flexplate with a 50 oz balance

if i were you i would by a fluid dampner harmonic balancer and a sfi flexplate. if you dont buy the harmonic balancer please buy the sfi flexplate. i have seen a harmonic balnacer break as well as a flex plate, bad day in both cases

stock mustang II flexplate wound to the sky and its always been A-OK[8D]
