yea, im more leaning tword the 351w, that way at 350hp the block isent even noticing it.

it would be cheaper in the long run too, becase once i want to bump up the power, it would be pretty easy.

its a 89 lx with some mild mod's but nothing amazing.

im not going to really add anything to it till the end of summer or so, this summer im focusing on finding a reliable shop to build me a powerful bullet proof 5speed.

then next year ill go for broke and get more power out of it.

are dyno tunes useless on my set up?

so far this is what i can TELL the car has (when i bought the car it did not have a list of the mods)

professional products typhoon intake, 70mm bbk throttle body, and spacer, stock mass air sensor, bbk cold air intake, light weight pulleys, 3point strut bar on towers and firewall, cobra heads (or valve covers?) chrome EVERYTHING under the hood (including thouse expsive radiator hoses) aftermarket aluminum radiator, aluminum drive shaft(not confermed yet), shift kit, and "internal work" said this one shop that clamed they did $2000 in work to the AOD tranny.
weld racing drag light weight wheels, bf goodrich radial t/a's rubber. and im sure im forgetting a few things
Big difference between cobra valve covers and GT40 heads...you might want to check that out, it's a 30 hp difference one way or another. As for shiney under the hood...bah waste of time.

100 shot of nitrous is about the cheapest way to do it.. and its reliable as long as you arent stupid about it
adder you didnt read clearly he said he wants to beat the crap out of it
i beat the **** out of my nitrous motor just about everyday, when i tore it down(other reasons)... no signs of it being hurt by the nitrous... 100 shot...

again... be smart about it
