LX 90

My stock AOD tranny took a dump and i need a new one. I would like to swap it with a built C4 tranny. Other then the bellhousing, what do i need to do the swap? Thanks

which C-4 do you have is it a big bell or a small bell what year is it? does the dip stick go in the pan or the case. if its a big bell c-4 you can use the AOD flex plate if its a small bell you will need to get a 157 tooth flex plate that is 50oz balance. and a torque converter to fit the correct converter. you will also need a shifter. your drive shaft should work also stick ones do. not sure what you will need to do to the cross member you can cut the welds on the ends and slide it front or rear to make it fit if you need to.. I have not done a AOD to C-4 yet but I have done many stick to C-4. I just finished one this weekend.
