Do any of yallthink it will be cheaper to buy my h-pipes or have a mechanic make it for me. ive got to go 2 1/2

well i guess it'll depend on how much they charge in your area. so ask the shops around you and see what they'll charge. but h pipes aren't really that much anyway so the savings won't be huge

Buy a pre-made H-pipe. The tubing is mandrel bent, which means the inside diameter of the pipe is maintained through-out any bends. Push pull benders shrink the inside diameter of the pipe in the bends. Most exhaust shops use the push pull benders.

I'd just buy an H pipe from JEGS or Summit Racing. Just seems like less hassle to me.

Gettinga Custom H-pipe w/ Magnalfow Cats for 416.00 total tommorrow. Called 4 shops and all wanted to do it custom, even a Performance shop insisted on a Custom pipe mainly cause of fitting. Some did say they would do an Aftermarket, but said I would pay alot more.I am getting my done at a ExhaustOnly shop,onePerformance shop wantedto do it custom for 600.00...forget that. Basicaly custom pipewould be 200.00-225.00 and Aftermarket 350.00+ for H pipe. Im not going to any Performance shops unless the work done needs THEIR expertise...they just rip you off. I even had a guy that was too far away that would of done it for 375.00!! and thisshop does only custom exhaust and headers..for 25 years.
