Default 4 cats to 2 still pass smog?

I have a 90 vert and i am upgrading my exhaust system. Will I pass smog when i replace the 4 cats with a x pipe with 2 cats?

I dont know the rules there but here in ohio as long as your car has more than 50,000 miles you can replace the cats and yes in ohio you could pass with two you would have to check the rules there but I think you would be fine.

first there is really on 2 cats the first 2 act like pre heater....it's all about how much emmissions you putting into the air..so when you go pull back the timing as much as you can the will help you pass

Also depends on if you state does a full visual inspection. If it doesn't look like their diagram they may say 'illegal smog equipment' and make you fail.
