Default Spark Plug Question

If I run a plug 1 range hotter than whatI have now (Autolite 25's)would it help with the richness problem I have by burning the mixure at a hotter temp?

Also, like I said I am running the 25's but the heads are a set of 1979's with no work done to them. Would it be better to get a set of plugs specificly for the 79 instead of the HO's 25's? Yes I know, get different heads and I am. I have a set of iron GT40's back in Indiana that I am picking up when I go on leave next month. But for now I just wanna get this thing running smoothly.

Default RE: Spark Plug Question

They might not foul as quickly, but they won't burn the mixture any better than the 25's.

Ok, Thanks, do you think that the plugs for the 79 heads may work better or will the HO's still be a better choice?
