ignition problem cranks,cranks,cranks, then starts
hello guys i'm having problems with my 95 mustang gt auto. is ignition problem, when i'm going to start it. it cranks, cranks,cransk then it starts. i'm tired of this problem what could be the problem, i replaced ignition module, ignition coil,new starter, msd cap and rotor, but has not solve my problem. this happens in cold starts, or when i leave the car off for 30 minutes. but if i turn the car off and on with in minutes is turn right on the first time. help please what could be the problem. clog injectors? bad fuel filter? timing? i dunno. thanks.for your kind replies.[/align]

I would say its the fuel regulator. It maybe leaking down faster than it should causing the car to take a little longer to build up fuel presure to start the car. As soon as u turn the key to the on position you should hear the fuel pimp wine to presurize the systen. Get a fuel guage on the fuel system and see if it holds presure after you shut it off and while its runing.

I have also seen the rubber hose between the pump and sending unit go bad before, soon as the pump stops, the system loses pressure, causing a long initial crank time
