alright well i have just a few questions about these.. as ive stated before i can get a setup, heads,intake, and tb for $350 which i am going to do, it is out of a 96 explorer. so my questions are

1. with the 96 explorer heads does it require different headers? i have mac equal length
2. how long should i expect on putting new heads and intake in? im pretty experience in working on engines but never have taken the intake or heads off of a 5.0
3. how much of a hp increase would i see from the heads,intake?

are the heads gt40 or gt40ps. Do they say gt, or do they have 3 bars, or 4 bars, or do they say gtp? If they have 3 bars then there gt40s, and you can use any headers, if they have 4 bars or are gt40p's then you need new headers.

 

if its 96 then its gt40 heads

I thought some of the later 96 explore's had the "P" heads.

alright thanks and that is what i wanted to make sure of,and also what kind of power increase will i see from doing this? or is there something else that would do better for around $400?
