you will but it will be a very minimal gain. ive asked this questions many times, your better off saving for heads rather than spending money on an intake manifold.

yeah, i was thinking to do the cam, heads, and intake all at the same time... but i would be better off getting a GT-40 crate motor mabey... i'm at 130,000 miles now, still running strong... but will eventually need a rebuild for some reason or another.

if the compression is good...doesn't burn oil....

you can do heads and intake right now no probs

you can find another 50 hp w/ the right parts for cheap, but don't expect to just bolt it on, port work is needed too.

as far as hp gians now over your current intake ? i doubt you'd see 1-2 hp

on my '90 gt i popped a real gt40 tubular w/ a ported lower and saw absolutely ZERO gain at all. no dyno, but my ET's were identical as b4

i wasn't surprised....but i expected at least .05-.10 et cut

I picked up some power by switching out to a Cobra intake, and it felt like more than a couple of horsepower.
