well first you have a non-roller engine....so I would hunt down a later roller block and go from there with enjoying the car.....is it a white car by chance?
Agreed, go to a salvage yard and pickup a low mileage roller 5.0 motor for a couple hundred and do your mods to that engine.

I would say a good set of aluminum heads(AFR,Edelbrock whatever floats your boat ), E303 cam, 1.7's and you'll be very happy.

That way you can build the motor and still drive your. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Hey guys I am new to this site, and looking for alot of advice for the stang. I have a 1984 and a half mustang GT350 20th anniversary V-8 mustang. The thing that I am thinking that I want to do is put E303 cam, GT-40-P heads, GT-40 headers with full exhaust system with X-pipe, holley intake manifold, and I am already running a 650cfm holley. What do you think? ( and please dont BS me just to make me look like a dumb-***, I am new at this.
first thing I would recommend is that you decide exactly what the final goal of your build-up is, then remember to keep the total package of mods in mind with the final goal. are you looking to build a hot street car, a street/strip car, or what?? What is the budget for this??? it's really easy to start doing mods without a gameplan and then you can spend lots of money on parts that don't necessarily work the best with others already on the car you are trying to build. do some reasearch on some techincal articles on sites like www.musclemustangs.com or www.50mustangs.com to get some more ideas about what combinations of mods work well together to make the level of HP and torque you want to have to make the car perform the way you want it to. take some time to think things through and you will be happier in the long run.
