UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE !!!!! got the new FUEL PUMP in- check this out
I got a Holley 190 lph pump. My car either feels like its starving for fuel or running out of fuel. Anyways- is there a sensor that would cause this behavior that I should check? Also, I would appretiate any advice you guys have on the installation process. Thanks.
no sensor that is fuel related that i know of......unhook battery....(duh)....three bolts on filler cap...inside fuel door....
don't jack car up yet...spay some nut buster on the strap bolts.over night...squeese under car with a cheater pipe if needed..
break those suckers loose(strap bolts x2) ....unplug sending unit, and fuel pump wires....flush the gas tank out....get some rustoleum paint....paint the
outside of the tank.....i hate rust!!!sorry....get some rubbing alchohol since it evaporates to flush it out the rest the way...wheeeew!
