does anyone have a t5 tranny for sale?
i just bought a 94gt with a 5.0 and most options for only $650 but the reverse gear doesn't work at all. im pretty sure i need a new transmission because whenever i put it in reverse it doesn't work at all, but all of the other gears work fine ive even driven it at the track and all. do the t5 tranny's in the old fox body style bolt up to the 5.0 in the 94? i have called a bunch of junk yards around my area and no one has anything. if anyone knows where to get one i would be greatly appreciated. and how hard is it to change? me and my friend just changed his rx7 tranny last weekend.

Not too hard to change.
Remove the interior boot and shifter handle.
Drop the H-pipe.
Mark the rear u-joint position and remove the drive shaft.
Make sure you drain the transmission first or it will dump out the rear of the transmission all over you.
Remove transmission.
It's about 2.7 quarts total of Mercon ATF for the 94 T5.
Transmission is not too heavy, feels like 60 or 70 lbs, light enough for one person to lift.
Personally I like Amsoil ATF for a synthetic replacement.
I use a small electric pump to feed the new fluid in.
I would sell you my T5, but it works so well I cannot part with it.
