Default Firewall kit, please explain..

Can someone explain to me how this works, where it goes exactly, and what it can do for me? Almost every 3 months i have to get under the car and tighten the clutch cable to keep it from making a noise. Im wondering if this is something that i can use to adjust the cable from above instead of under the car.

it allows pedal height to be adjusted and any excess slack to be removed.. and bolts in place on the fire wall right where your cable goes through now and the little screw is that secures it to the firewall

you can adjust it so the pedal is higher up...I did that on mine cause it grabbed to low ...but you'll need to remove the stock self adjusting mechanism and install the half moon wheel in place on the quadrant

I'd be more worried your cable is stretching

i dont think its stretching, theres a nut and i think it vibrate and lets become looser. theres also a possiblity its my throwout bearing but if its not brooke, im not fixing it becuase my clutch works perfectly.
