Default 351W Setup

Putting a 351W into a 66 Ford Mustang. So far have a detroit locker rear end with 3:73 gears and going to be rebuilding engine this week. Am hoping for suggestions on a build between 250-350HP. Starting with internal engine upgrades so that I can do that while I'm learning to rebuild engine and can do bolt on's later. Currently looking for aluminum heads but lost as to what to get for this build. Any links or suggestions are much appreciated!!!

stock its has around 250-270rwhp. for mild build try AFR 185 heads and for all out 205's or somthing. Try to get a cam w/ 112-114 lobe center.

just some tips i guess

10.0 to 10.5 compression
.030 over bore
Stock crank
Stock rods
Forged pistons - 13-15cc dish
AFR 185's - 58cc
Custom cam
Super Vic. Intake
750 carb
ARP bolts and studs everywhere
Windage tray

make 350ish rwhp no problem

that will make 350 no problem but you could save some money and order a set of bare 205 aluminum heads with a 58cc combustion chamber put in the 2.02 and 1.6 valves, springs, retainers, studs, and guides, and save some money, AFR's are way over priced IMO, my heads flow pretty dead even with the 185's and i payed almost half of what AFR's cost.
