hey just wondering if someone has any ideas on whats wrong with my 88. It seems like once in a while i dont know exactly whats wrong with it but my dash lights along with my tail lights go out. My break lights work and everything headlights and all that but randomly thell just go out. Any ideas or anyone one else who had this problem it would be nice to get some input how to fix it. Thanks

Is it when you have your fog lights on with your regular headlights on also? if so its a fox body common problem. the conrol box for the headlight assembly cant handle the voltage. Pm if its on when your foglights are on. I will give you a site to fix the problem.

no its just when i have my headlights on my foglights work fine and everything i thought it might be a fuse but that doesnt seem right especially since the headlights work and the brake lights as well. What really throws me off is when the dash guage lights go off and so do my tail lights im really clueless to whats going on

I would bet on the headlight switch....

yeah ill check it out maybe it went bad or something short in the wire somewhere
