Default Code 67

I recently just ran the codes because i have been having an idle problem where it idles too high for a few seconds (about 4sec @ 900-1000rpm) then finally comes down to where it should be about 200-300 less than that.I pulled a 67 with Key On Engine Off,

Looking up in my book what Code 67 Means....

"Neutralpressure switch (NPS) circuit failure, circuit open (3.0L MAP, 3.0L MAF-SFI, 3.8L SFI)"

and after, it passed. No other codes.

would this affect my idle? where can i fix this problem? what can i check? any help would be great if you know ANYTHING about code 67 or what might have caused it

Yes it will, usually the wiring connector gets burnt by the exhaust, the sensor fails or the connector breaks.
