Default pistons for the 306>???

got the block all worked and done, i got it hot tanked and bored .030 over. i got rods and crank done, i need to find a descent set of pistons that are .030 over pistons, that will hold boost. i am on a budget so it would be cool to just get a good forged piston that will hold up.. got any ideas? need a piston that will have about 9:1 with a 58 cc head... any ideas would be awsome... thanks guys =]

ill get some pics as i start to put it togeather hehe,, the motor is guna go good with the afr 185's and the 10 LBS from the miniblower =]

Mahle, Diamond, CP, all make good pistons. I wouldn't put a cheap piston in an engine, especially one with a blower.

your supposed to HAVE your pistons when the block gets bored

if your looking for something good and cheap TRW forged stuff is tough as nails but probably wont be as light as the JE's

This is very true, for optimal piston to cylinder wall clearance. How did I miss this!

Not necessary for boring, but definately for honing.

I dont think you can beat Diamond Racing Pistons. They are not cheap though.

Yep, they need the measurement at the tang of the piston.
