I am doing a 5 lug conversion on my 88 and just want someone to confirm I have the 8.8" rearend. Picture is attached Thanks

I thought it was, but looks different than the one in my 07 and the swap I did on an explorer. Thanks.

I did a search and saw the above pic, before I posted the question.What really confused me is the bolt holes for the 8.8" in the above pic, don't match any 8.8" rearend I have seen. If you look at the above picture then compare to the picture I posted of my rearend the holes are different. My holes are the same as the 7.5" but obviously the square shape gives it away.

back cover plate on 7.5 is also just a uniform dome shape.
8.8 has the destinctive "humped" cover plate
