I want to know if im running mac control arms 4 cylinder springs and lakewood 50/50 shocks in the back and 90/10 struts and 4 cylinder springs in the front will i still need the traction bars or should i get adjustable control arms instead. this car is track only not driven on strre. one of the first things all race only cars need is new suspension. Check your traction bars and make sure that they are adjusted and close to the frame if not when the tires catch it will cause the bars to slam on your frame and actually cause the tires to spin. I had this almost exact problem with my 87 351w stang. Good luck on fixing your tire spin prob

they still have a friggin piece of metal under the car to hold it up doesn't it yeah it does. but none the less the traction bars will slap that piece of metal and cause the tires to break free
