if it's missing under load in upper rpm's after correcting timing issue...you might want to inspect secondary ignition components, ie..cap, rotor , wires, and plugs.....had a tune up lately?? and fuel filter??

i actually changed cap, rotor, wires, and plugs about 4 months ago...but a check wouldnt hurt...lol...ok so how should i go about redoing the timing? should i leave in the spout conn. and put the dizzy back to stock, then take the spout out and bump it...or just take the spout out then put the dizzy back to stock, then bump it agian ( i wanna keep it advanced...if it even is[&:]...lol)

what plugs ? platinum ? get rid of them if so for cheap coppers....you can close the gap up to about .040" and see if that cures it...but you need to redo your timing to know for sure. have to start there.

Take the spout out and set the timing to factory timing, then bump it 4 degrees advanced, then put the spout back in

you cant leave the spout connector inwhen adjusting, the computer is constantly adjusting timing and there is no accurate way to know how much youve advanced it. ive seen this before and usually when rechecked the timing is waaaaaay off.
