Default Water in oil and driving :(

k i got my car running and took it to my school and when i got there i opened the valve cover filler and the oil was a white foamy colour so i guess water got in the oil but i drove 11KM and i drove about 70-80km a hour the whole way, and i was staying like under 2000 rpm, so im just wondering if i screwed anything up because i gotta go drain the oil in the morning "(

Im no epxert, but it sounds like your pretty screwed. Lots of white smoke coming out the exhaust? Blown head gasket maybe. Unless if it was sitting for a long time and maybe moisture got in there. I'm sure someone will have a better idea than me.

unless the timing cover was off .......doing a water pump won't get coolant in the oil and if the timing cover was off you'd have to get a crap load in there to get a milky mess and after such a repair before start up you should of changed oil if coolant was dripping into the pan as a result of the cover being off

Warm it up and then drain the oil. If it looks like a milkshake then you have one of the above problems.

you may not of got the timing cover water jackets sealed up right....without dropping the oil pan down a little it's tough to slide a timing cover back in place real well....if it wasn't milky before the timing cover attempt to reseal then you may not of got it sealed correctly
