You try cleaning the maf? how does hte Iac valve look?

 

lol, forgot to mention. MAF is new and clean. IAC has also been cleaned.

 

Since it seems to be over night or after sitting so long I am leaning toward a leaking injector. My thoughts are after the initial bump the cylinder clears and fuel pressure is built back up in the line to allow the second try to fire up.

im trying to get ahold of some gt40 heads and then upgrade to 24's. do you think it would be a bad idea to let this issue continue until then or is this one of those "fix it now or screw something up" kind of issues?

 

Well, you got the method down for getting it started and it would be easier to change everything all at once. I would wait unless the problem gets worse.
