Dust boot & BBK caster/camber plates

Do you remove or trim the strut dust boot?

Right now my boot is slightly poking up through the strut tower hole preventing any for, aft or side to side movement.

You can't remove it or the struts will go to hell. In some installs you do have to cut the rubber at the top of the boot so the strut can fully seat.

So just cut it enough so the spacer sit solidly onto whatever is under the dustboot?

For the BBK plates the cover must be completely removed.

It's done and I got -0.45 deg camber with the slot all the way over. This is on a Eibach Sportline lowered 93 coupe.
