max you can port a stock maf...
Just wondering... I wont be doing anything to my car for 30days because it got impounded for street racing. but I was wondering whats the max you can port the stocker maf.

the stock maf is 55mm and the tb is 65mm. i wouldnt try to port the stock one. you will throw the ecu off. just get the 73mm from c&l. it will be your cheapest way to go if thats why your thinking of porting

hes right, the stock MAF are cast aluminum and should not be ported. you will de-calibrate it, just buy one from jdsperformance.com for 119 bucks. i got the 73mm one and its worth every penny.

Should I get the same size tubing that is optional with it? If I do get something like this what kind of difference could I see. Or would I see anything at all?

as i always said dollar for dollar the MAF is the most powerful mod. for 119 bucks you can free up a good 15 HP. not a bad deal i say.
