I recently purchased a 83 crown vic. It came with a 302, aod, and a 8.8. I wanna know if I can put this rear in my 93 coupe. I know a 8.8 from another mustang will bolt right up but what about this one.

PS anyone wanna buy a 302 and/or an aod with 55K original miles on it?

not positive but don't think the rear end from the Vic will just bolt into the Stang, they are build on different chassis and probably use different attachment points and brackets. also the width maybe be different.

you might just want to pull the gears out of it and just use them

NO they won't fit their to wide

The tallest gear the panther got was 3.27:1 and they are 28 spliners , your time would be better spent somware else

a 31 spline ranger 4:11 with T-lock would be worth the teardown and rebuild ,but not this one unless you want the T-lock if it has it
