Default Port and Polish Stock Cylinder Heads?

How much, roughly, would a proffesional charge to port and polish a pair of stock heads?

more than thier worth....could be few hundred but there is really no need to polish them on these...you would gain as much flow in putting in under cut valves

stock heads can flow decent amounts of air if done up right. dont let all these ppl mislead you. stock heads can be made to work great. look at some of hte classes out there. they only run stock heads and run great times

port and polish them yourself, save tons of money, just did a set of 289 heads for 66 mustang and plan on doing it for my 89 5.0

My 351w heads were ported and polished with oversized 1.94/1.60 valves. The shop charged me about $700 to do all the machine work and assemble them. He cut me a break because I had all my block work done there too.

sometimes new heads dont flow as much as these worked ones. and you just saved like 400 bucks. that can be added to somethingelse

Just get some AFR heads. probably only about 300 more than if you haD your stock ones ported
