Axle or Wheel Bearing Damaged

Axle or Wheel Bearing Damaged
I'm not sure which is causing the problem, the axle or wheel bearing. I spun out a while ago and smacked one of my wheels into a curb (I didn't know it had rained). I'm guessing that messed up something and that is why I keep burning through brakes on that wheel. I think the problem is that the wheel and rotor rotate a bit out of round so that the caliper stays in place and the pads give more contact at one point of the rotation. I don't know about the whole inner workings of that area yet so I'm unsure what would need to be replaced.
If I'm going to be looking for new parts in that area, what should I be looking for? Any tips?

RE: Axle or Wheel Bearing Damaged
Jack it up and spin the wheel that got hit if its not straight take the wheel off and spin the axle to see if it is bent sounds like it is. it may just need a axle in it most likelylook to see if the housing is bent it is hard to tell some times you will be looking for cracked paint or rust broke away at a point then get your tape out and start measuring. but it is probably just a axle it takes a good bit to bend a housing.
