the reverse lights have never worked on my car since i got it last year. my car was converted to 5-speed and i think someone got lazy hooking up the wires. ive looked under the car and have noticed that next to wear the speedo cable plugs into the tranny that there are 2 wires just hanging there, not sure if thats them. just wondering where you guys think i should look.

 

yup thats them. its just like a brake light switch only a reverse light switch. you gotta find a wiring diagram for it and hook it up the right way i couldnt tell you how it works it could be as easy as hooking up the power and ground to those to wires from the reverse lights which is probably is
