IAT causing problems!!!
I have a 94 5.0/auto car that I just purchased. It had a resistor in the IAT sensor connector
that I removed and put back in it's place. Now the engine will only turn 3200-3500 rpm's but the torque converter will try to lock up. With the resistor in place the car has to reach operating temp. to run correctly until then it will stumble, spit, and stutter. With the sensor unplugged the car seems to run fine but the transmission goes in gear hard and the torque converter will not lock up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!!
