Has anyone heard of or used Dextron 6 personally. We use it at work on HMVVE's and I didn't want to spend the money on tranny fluid so I filled my c5 with it. I don't know if that is what cause my slipping problems to get worse here lately or what but I figured hey maybe its better than Dex 3 bc its 6. The first time I ever seen it was when I was in Iraq last summer we started getting it in. Never had a problem with those GM transmissions though.

 

I'd stick with dextron 3..6 is a synthetic I believe and is waht gm is now putting in their trannies

 

I just did a google on it and it seems to be a good fluid but probably not for older tranny's. I am gonna stick with Mercron or Dex III when I swap my other trans in.

Now that I think of it we have Dex 3 made by B&M at work too. Now I just need to sneak off with some lol. The army doesn't pay me enough so I might as well make off with what I can on the side but shhhhhhhh![:-]
