8.8 is what you need. With the auto most will say go with 4.10 or 4.30 for gear ratio. Find a shop that ports heads first, not all door they will send them to someone else for porting. Your going to have to do some legwork to see if anyone ports locally if not you well need to send them off. I wouldnt let anyone do that does not have a flow bench. There is more to porting than just grinding. Tell the machinist what you have and he will reccomend what porting you should do.

I did find a shop really close by my house so thats good. Would u say go with the 4.10 or 4.30 would that hurt me if i was driving down the high way at high rpms or not? Also i need some headers too any ideas on a good set? O one more thing i bought a flowmaster cat back exhaust the american thunder one i was really disapointed with them was really low, i mean it was an up grade from my stock but not wat i was expecting any suggetions on an exhaust system i really want one that sounds mean. swap the stock midpipe for an o/r pipe. it really wakes up the flows.
