any short cuts on puting one in?

nope doesnt take that long just in there and do it. i just did mine its not hard. just make sure you get the right cable either with speed control or not. pull the dash disconnect the plugs press the little white tab thingy to release the cable, unbolt the tranny end of the cable and pull it. then rerun the new one.

no..either way you have to remove cluster to release that end and then get under the car and remove drive assembley from tranny housing end and then fish it through the firewall

ThanksDid it in about an hr.No more bounce from the needle and that strange noise from the cluster YAHOO

Did the new one have an o-ring or did you swap it?
