i have a 2.3 93 lx 5spd and wondering what i would need for a 5.0 swap.

 

motor , trans , computer... everything really

 

so it would be a lot easier if i had a 5.0 donor car.

 

Depends... but it might be. Unless you are set on keeping your actual car. Donors can usually be had for cheap. There are a few tech articles floating around the net on everything you will need for the swap. You should look at the list and figure out everything that you will need to purchase in order to complete the swap. Than take that price and look at some donor cars. Figure out which way is going to be cheaper and take it from there. I have a "project" car might be the better way to go. Not sure if it will be cheaper but it will most likely be less hassle and less work.
