Default Help identifying hose

Hose comes off a 3"x3" black box on the firewall to the left of the vacumm tree(similar). A plug goes in it and one hose goes in it. The hose coming from the box appears to connect to the back of the upper intake.

If it's connected, I'd guarantee that his car is SD. Did you ever try to run one unplugged? Yikes!

Yeah that would be the MAP, but its not a big pain to change really.... plus it is good time to get the rest of the vacuum lines as well. To change it you will need to remove the upper intake plenum..... if it is not leaking yet, it will sooner than later and the car will run like ***.

BTW, your paint, is that gunmetal and silver?

If that the case, might as well swap it w/ a boneyard explorer intake.

The top portion is Dark Grey Mettalic, bottom is titanium. Car was cheaply repainted and I think they went a bit lighter on the bottom than factory, but top is same as factory.
