so i was driving yesterday. . all of a sudden beep beep beep and sometimes it just beeps once. it sounds like it coming from behind the dash.also sometimes it does a half beep. any ideas of what it is or what caused it?

i will def. do that tomorrow cuz it is driving me crazy. it goes off when im sitting there and driving and i cant figure it out.

 

could be the door chime or air bag module if your car has an air bag

 

its not the door chime because that is very faint and thats more of ding..... these are true BEEPs coming from the middle of the dash right above the air/cd

 

yup.... sounds like the airbag diagnostics module!

 

alright.... so why does it beep. and how do i get it to stop.?

fix the problem, or eliminate the source
