I would had pour a qt or 2 down the engine to clean out the bottom of the pan..then I would get a magnetic drain plugs

when you pour the 2 quarts down put a big magnet on the bottom of the oil pan and then take the magnetic off when you drain the oil that should help get the left over bits out

Hm, the magnetic drain plug idea sounds like a good one.

But I already did my oil change. What I did, was I let it drain overnight, then I poured half a quart of the new oil into it with the drain plugs still off, and then let that drain overnight, then on the third day I plugged everything up and filled it, it should be ok, I hope...

It drives good, that's all I know for now...
